Each character can have a max of one combat type and one non-combat type pet.

  • Those with companion magic users  can only have a non-combat pet.
  • By default a first generation Dragon Slayer may choose to start with a exceed which is a non-combat type pet which can be made in the companion template.
  • Certain combat pets will be capable of scaling with the character meaning, however some may not.
  • Pets can be acquired through several ways including event, request rewards and by purchasing them on the market.
  • It should be noted that combative pets run the risk of being killed every time they are in combat with or without owner approval, but non-combative pets can only be killed at their owner discretion, Companions are slightly different as they as require the permission of their owner to be killed if they are the character still has that magic though they may be unable to use it completely unless their companion is resurrected.
  • Non-combative pets may potentially have limited healing magic.
